The Moon Global Foundation, Inc. Mission is to provide access to a creative environment, with an opportunity to participate in programs in the fields of media and arts to enhance skills and prepare for careers in the entertainment and art industries.

We wholeheartedly believe that everyone who dreams of a career in the arts should have an opportunity to reach their full potential. Our goal is to give participants the tools, the creative space and the encouragement needed to thrive in their chosen field.

MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Pamela Bright-Moon, M.A.
Executive Director

With more than three decades in broadcast television, service as an Arts Commissioner for Los Angeles County, and years of volunteer work with community organizations, I’ve seen firsthand the systemic barriers that keep underserved communities from breaking into film and television. As a filmmaker, I made my directorial debut recently and have produced six films, further grounding my commitment to creating opportunities both behind and in front of the camera.

The challenge is not talent or interest—it’s access. Too often, aspiring creatives lack the training, mentorship, and resources required to develop their skills, qualify for union membership, and build sustainable careers in the entertainment industry.

Moon Global Foundation was founded to change that. Our mission is to expand educational, intellectual, and professional opportunities for residents of underserved communities across Los Angeles County. We focus on equipping underrepresented voices with the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to succeed in the arts.

At Moon Global Foundation, we are committed to building pathways for success and leveling the playing field. Through mentorship, hands-on training, and industry connections, we aim to create interest into passion, passion into possibility—and possibility into lasting careers.
